Fylentra has no account, no analytics, no ads and no crash reporting. It never uploads your files. The only network request the app makes is an optional daily check for a newer version.

The app

Fylentra reads the folders you choose so it can compare and copy them. It stores your jobs, folder paths, settings, SHA-256 checksums, schedules and run history on your computer, in your Windows user profile, together with a cache of file checksums that makes repeat analyses faster. Previous versions of files it replaces or deletes are kept in hidden history folders inside your synced folders, for the period you choose.

A profile export (.fylentra-profile) contains paths, names, settings and history in readable form. It is not encrypted. It is saved only where you choose and is never sent anywhere automatically.

Update check

Once a day, and when you select “Check for updates”, the app downloads a small version file from https://fylentra.com/updates/latest.json. The request contains no information about your jobs or files and sends no cookies. Like any web request, our server receives your IP address and a standard browser identifier.

To turn it off, open App settings → App updates and clear “Check automatically once a day”. The app never downloads or installs an update by itself.

This website

fylentra.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. Our hosting server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page and browser identifier) to operate and secure the site. We do not use them to build profiles.

Support

If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you. You decide whether to attach logs or a profile export; nothing is sent automatically.
